One thing I am certain about is that I wouldn't actively go back to read about events that have already happened in WoW/Warcraft in novel form because I would see no point to it. Maybe it's because various authors have written them and their quality varies wildly. Something about the feel of the game doesn’t translate very well to literary form and that’s why I’ve been putting off reading Warcraft books for so much time. I actively seek to expand my knowledge of the world and its characters, but I am ashamed to say that I hardly ever reach for Warcraft books. I am a die-hard Horde player, my favorite character of all time is Sylvanas Windrunner and my main character used to be a Female Blood Elf Hunter until I switched to Monk. This year, I am celebrating 10 years since I've started playing WoW. So I went on to World of Warcraft to find out more. It was the first time I was introduced to the lore of the Warcraft Universe and when I realized that I wasn't just content with that single story. One of the first truly marking stories I have ever experienced as a gamer was Warcraft III. May contain spoilers! Read at your own risk! *lesigh* This is my constant dilemma as a bookish gamer.
